PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education

If you are new to higher education teaching (less than three years) you will be expected to take the PG Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, accredited by Advance HE and leading to Fellow Status.

This programme is designed for colleagues who are engaged in teaching in higher education, and you will be required to draw upon your practice throughout the programme via discussions and teaching observations. The programme is a masters level 7 and runs over a period of 18 months.

For postgraduate researchers, and colleagues with less teaching commitments, we also offer an Associate Fellowship Pathway in Higher Education through this course.

Colleagues also have the option of taking the MA or PhD in Higher Education which is open to both staff and external candidates.
